Day One: The Grand Reopening
The moment I walked through those doors, I felt like I was entering a sacred space—my home gym, my sanctuary!
24 Hour Fitness has always been more than just a place to lift weights; it’s where I forged friendships, tackled fitness goals, and even had the occasional awkward encounter.
Shoutout to that one time I tripped over a dumbbell while trying to impress someone—LOL.
But, alas, with the new rules in place, the gym experience has changed a bit.
For starters, they’ve implemented some new policies:
No working out twice in one day, and no hopping between different 24 Hour Fitness locations.
I get it, they’re trying to keep everyone safe, but holy guacamole, it’s tough to adjust!
I hit the gym at 5 PM for my first workout back.
The energy was electric, and I was pumped!
I didn’t want to waste any time recording too much because, you know, I had only one hour to get my sweat on.
Time is precious when you’re trying to shred those calories, am I right?
So, I focused on what matters most: the workout!
The hour flew by, and while I didn’t get any epic footage (sorry, folks!), I felt invigorated.
The machines were calling my name, and I answered them with everything I had.
I’ll be back tomorrow to capture some clips for you guys.

Day Two: Bringing a Friend Along
Fast forward to day two!
I decided to bring along my buddy.
You might remember him from the infamous “drunk house” incident (LOL, good times!).
It’s always more fun to work out with someone who shares your passion, especially when that passion includes nerding out over our favorite anime or video games while lifting weights.
We hit the gym, and I was able to snag a few clips because he was there to help out.
It was like old times, and you could see the nostalgia lighting up his face.
This gym is where we met, and it felt like a trip down memory lane—hearts racing, beats skipping, and all that good stuff!
We both agreed that while the new rules are a bummer, the atmosphere and the sense of community at 24 Hour Fitness remain unmatched.
There’s something about sweating it out together that creates bonds stronger than even the best anime plot twists. 😂

What’s New at 24 Hour Fitness?
For those of you who haven’t been back yet, or are just curious, here are some of the changes and what you can expect:
Limited Capacity:
To ensure social distancing, the gym is operating at reduced capacity.
You might not see as many people, which can be a good thing if you’re a bit shy.
New Policies:
As I mentioned before, you can only work out once per day and can’t jump between locations.
It’s a bummer, but safety first!
Sanitization Stations:
There are hand sanitizer stations all around, and the cleaning crew is on point!
You can feel safe knowing they’re working hard to keep the place clean.
Updated Equipment:
They’ve brought in some new machines and upgraded some of the old ones.
It’s like stepping into a shiny new world of gains!
